Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy

1. INTRODUCTION


World Class Training Centre Sdn Bhd ("WCTC" or "WTC") is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our operations. We recognize the corrosive effects of corruption and bribery on our society, business, and reputation. To demonstrate our unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, we have established this Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy to promote compliance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, and other applicable anti-corruption laws.


2. OBJECTIVES


Our primary objectives are:


- To prevent corruption and bribery in all our operations.

- To uphold the integrity, reputation, and values of WTC.

- To ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Act.


3. DEFINITIONS


- Corruption: Any form of abuse of entrusted power for personal gain.

- Bribery: Offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting anything of value to influence an action, decision, or outcome.

- Employee: Anyone working for WTC, including permanent, temporary, contract, and part-time staff.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES


5.1. Board of Directors and Management


- Set the tone for ethical behavior and compliance.

- Ensure the development and implementation of effective anti-corruption and anti-bribery procedures.

- Lead by example, fostering a culture of integrity.


5.2. All Employees


- Familiarize themselves with this policy and related procedures.

- Report any suspicious activity to the designated compliance officer or a higher authority.

- Avoid engaging in corrupt or bribing activities.


6. REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION

  • Encourage employees to report any concerns or violations through established channels.
  • Ensure confidentiality and protection for whistleblowers.
  • Investigate all reports promptly and impartially.


7. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATIONS

Violations of this policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment or legal action, depending on the severity of the offense.


8. REVIEW

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with evolving legal requirements and ethical standards.
